Whoops, I forgot to do this after watching the episode. Time to backtrack!

-Lelouch is such a dork. "Turn your clothes inside out and sing for me while dancing on one foot." "Yes, Master." "NO WHAT STOP."
-My canoe. My poor canoe. D; It has broken nearly in half, held tenuously together by some stubborn substance, and it bobs haphazardly in and out of the water, one half sinking and the other trying desperately to keep them both afloat. And the sinking half thinks it's a slave ship. BUT IT IS NOT. IT IS A CANOE. (I like metaphors.)
-I have been waiting so long for Kallen to be kickass again, but I hate Suzaku's pathetic emo self-loathing tendencies.
-omg the faces of the national representatives when Zero announces, "...and its name will be the United Federation of Nations!" "OOOOOOOOOHH~!!!! :OOOOOO"
-For whatever reason, I really like Tianzi. Her voice, too.
-C.C. not being BFFs with Cheese-kun is the BIGGEST TRAGEDY of this episode.
-I want some of Sugiyama's gourmet pizza. Haha, I wonder what he thought of the request, considering he already has some doubts about Zero.
-In some ways, my canoe is stronger than ever. But my slaveship!canoe is also high-pitched and skittish, and that makes me sad.
-Anya is so creepy and so inadvertently profound.
-I am forming wonderful but unfortunately obvious theories regarding Kallen and Bradley. What I cannot explain is why Kallen is wearing a corset. It is not possible that her breasts are naturally that high and firm.
-Gino really shows off his awesome in this episode. Before now, he's just been amusing.
-Racist girl is racist. >O It's going to kill her one day in a delightfully ironic way. LLOYD IS SO BRILLIANT.
-"Itterasshaimase." "Huh? ... Ittekimasu." :)
-Oh damn the Emperor is so creepy with his hissing, "Zero...!" Eek.
-Lelouch is terrified of the Emperor, and Toudou knows it.
-Unanswered question: What happened to Ougi and Viletta after they fell toward the rocks? Ougi is here, and he's all right physically, but he seems out of it, though not enough that I think anything grave happened to Viletta.
-When Lelouch panics, and he panics often, his thoughts race and go through several different solutions, but all of them are lousy, and he always needs to rely on someone else. I love panicky, helpless, desperate Lelouch because it's such a contrast against his usual power-hungry egomaniacal self who thinks he is untouchable. And very often the reason he is panicky, helpless, and desperate is because he cares about people, and then the people who care about him come and save him, and the boats get stronger. :) Like my canoe. Like my sailboat.
-I'm very fond of Lelouch's symbolic chess set, but he always ignores it. I don't think he's realized yet that it's symbolic. Doing so would probably be very useful to him because he's probably better at interpreting chess symbolism than I.
-In this episode, the chess pieces are in a mess. One the white side, it looks like five pawns and a rook are up. On the black, the knights, a pawn, a rook, and the king, which has C.C.'s blood on the tip. The pieces are each on their respective sides of the board; it's only the beginning of the game.
-'Kay this really isn't that sad, but when I first watched the last few scenes of this episode, I was bawling.
