ariadI am quite proud of what Sims 2 creations I have to show off today, although the latter half still requires a lot of work before I will be satisfied. These creations are inspired by the cartoon Avatar: The Last Airbender.
Fire Nation Royal Palace
Lot Size: 5x6, I think.
Lot Price: ~210,000
Custom Content: A lot. Most importantly, carved walls and floors by Yuxi, Persianesque and Amelia living room sets by Adele, and Moroccan furniture by Dh. I may replace some furniture with more Asian-style ones by Avenida soon.
This is only a loose adaptation, using a default house as a base. It's also much darker and more forbidding than the original, with black or bronze metallic stone in place of the beige marbles and light woods. I may redo all the walls and floors when Zuko becomes an adult. (OH MY GOD I GET TO HOUSE OZAI IN A PRISON I'M SO EXCITED. And solve the mystery of wherever Ursa went, hmmm?)

This shot is from another neighborhood, which is why a normal-looking house is visible in the background. In my fandom neighborhood, the palace is fittingly adjacent to Temple of Fire, based on Resshin's temple from the Flame of Recca manga.

Two bedrooms, three bathrooms (yet this idiot family can't seem to bring itself to pee or bathe when it needs to), the kitchen, the dining room, the war room, and the royal gallery.
Ozai & Ursa's bedroom, Azulon & Ilah's bedroom, two bathrooms, and an entertainment room with a stereo and a piano. This floor also has two balconies, one of which houses twojeffs' magical ficus.

The War Room, which is good for absolutely nothing. I thought about putting the stereo in there to make it double as a ballroom. Pathetic looking, isn't it? The Fire Lord sits on a little stool behind a row of floor lights. Scary! (I do not know how to do that really tall deck thing, by the way, or else I might have been able to at least give the Fire Lord a stage, and has anyone else noticed that the stairs onto the stage are completely flat? I did not think they were even stairs until Zuko walked up them in 3x18.)
Modeled after Zuko's bedroom. Iroh sleeps there now, so there's a little tea set that Ilah likes to play with for hours.
Modeled after Azula's bedroom, which has a weird indoor roof structure that I did not try to duplicate. Lu Ten currently sleeps there. (Oh damn, where are Zuko and Azula going to sleep before Ilah, Lu Ten, and Azulon die?)
The Royal Gallery, "a hallway which contains large portraits of previous Fire Lords," including a Caucasian woman, a tiger, a bridge, a forest, some butterflies, and a gate. My, the Fire Nation really has some unusual rulers!
The dining hall. I may trade out that Moroccan jug.
The hall that leads into the courtyard, which is this version is just a backyard lined with arches. I ran out of room. Sigh...

The Sozin Household
I think I may have overdone this one, but honestly, the only things that kept me from going back another generation was concerns about household size and whether I would be able to make my favorite generation look the way I wanted.
From left to right, here are Iroh, Ursa (holding Zuko), Ozai, Ilah, Lu Ten, and Azulon. Ursa is now pregnant with Azula, which is making me anxious about the number of people in the household. It's difficult for me to handle as it is. I plan to use cheats to kill off Ilah very soon, and after Azula is born, age her and Zuko up to children, kill Lu Ten, and then kill Azulon, who is a crap Fire Lord anyway, seeing as how he's working as some kind of mail clerk. Ozai has more appropriate hair now, and next time I play, I plan to put him in the adult male "Prince Zuko" armor I downloaded.
The Turk and Karyu households came over to greet their new neighbors. Here is Ozai (with his new 'do) dancing in his pajamas as Reno plays the piano.
Bet y'all didn't know Ursa was a firebender. Yeah, I didn't either.
That's all for now. I can't wait until the weekend, hahaha. I'm also working on a spruced-up version of simgirl9089's Traverse Town District 1 at which the Sims can go shopping for new digs.
